Author Notes: I wrote this for the hhr fest at dreamwidth. I am actually pretty proud of this one. The tag for character death refers to Sirius as the fic deals with the fallout and it seemed the most relevant tag.
Summary: His godfather's death shakes Harry to his core. He barely sleeps and is falling apart to the extent that even Petunia tries to rouse him from his misery. It is only when he returns to the Burrow that things start to change and Harry realises who his true family is and what friendship really means to him.
